Chicago party bus rental, in one paragraph

A 22-passenger Chicago party bus is $1,340 for 4 hours, $1,550 for 5, and $1,760 for 6, with the driver, fuel, taxes, and gratuity included. Friday and Saturday evenings carry a 4-hour minimum, Sunday through Thursday 3 hours, and every Saturday in March through May 6 hours (prom season). A quote is not a reservation: the signed contract and 50% deposit hold the date.

    Chicago quote requests, 2026

  • 19% of Friday and Saturday bookings run 6 hours or more, compared with 17% on other days; extra hours are a celebration decision, not a weekend one.

    2026 booking-desk patterns

  • The 22-passenger party bus is the most requested size in Chicago, appearing in about 29% of Chicago quotes that specified a vehicle size.

    Chicago quote requests, 2026

  • A 56-passenger coach quoted at a median of about $2,000 costs less per seat than almost any party bus; forward-facing seating is the most economical way to move a large group.

Definitely lives up to their name! We used them for our bachelorette/bachelor parties and our wedding and will be using them again. They were absolutely great! Even let me extend an hour when I decided my bachelorette party was too much fun and I wasn't ready to go yet!! I would absolutely recommend them and do to everyone!!

Chicago Party Bus — Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers from the Chicago booking desk

How much does it cost to rent a party bus in Chicago?
On the current Chicago rate card a 22-passenger party bus is $1,340 for 4 hours, $1,550 for 5, and $1,760 for 6; an 8-passenger stretch limo is $1,100 for 4 hours; a 32-passenger shuttle is $1,220; and the 45-passenger party bus is $2,420. The median Chicago quote in 2026 was about $1,560 for the trip. Prices include the vehicle, driver, fuel, taxes, and gratuity, and the written quote is final.
What is the minimum rental time for a party bus in Chicago?
Friday and Saturday evening rentals have a 4-hour minimum. A 3-hour minimum is available Sunday through Thursday and for Friday or Saturday trips that finish before 5 p.m. Because Chicago publishes prom-season pricing, every Saturday in March, April, and May carries a 6-hour minimum for all event types, not just proms. You can always book more hours than the minimum, and 58% of Chicago groups book exactly 4.
What is included in the price?
The quoted price covers the vehicle for the reserved hours, a professional and commercially insured driver, fuel, taxes, and the driver's gratuity. Party buses and stretch limousines also come with ice and bottled water in the bar area. Extra hours are billed at the contract hourly rate, and mileage adjustments apply only to trips well outside Chicagoland, which the written quote will say up front. There is no tip to calculate on the night of the event.
Is a quote the same as a reservation?
A quote tells you the vehicle, hours, and total, but it does not hold the vehicle. The reservation is locked in only when the signed contract and the 50% deposit are received. Saturdays book quickly: 49% of Chicago trips fall on a Saturday, so a quote for a summer Saturday can disappear within days.
How much is the deposit and when is the balance due?
A 50% deposit reserves the vehicle and the balance is due 7 to 14 days before the event. If the event is within 7 days, the full amount is due at booking. All balances must be paid before the group boards. Deposits are non-refundable, which is what allows the vehicle to be taken off the calendar for you.
Can I bring my own drinks and cups?
Yes. Riders 21 and over may bring their own sealed beverages and a cooler. Plastic cups are recommended and glass is discouraged; a broken bottle ends more parties than anything else. Party buses and stretch limos have ice and bottled water in the bar area, but bring fresh ice for cocktails. Food is not allowed on board because it triggers the $250 sanitation fee, but the driver will stop at any restaurant on your route.
What are the rules when minors are on board?
Alcohol is not allowed on any vehicle carrying minors unless a parent or legal guardian is on board. If alcohol is found with underage riders, or the driver suspects underage drinking, the trip stops immediately with no refund and parents are contacted. Large backpacks are not allowed on prom, homecoming, or other under-21 trips unless a parent or guardian is present, and drivers may visually check bags and coolers.
Can we make multiple stops or pick up at several homes?
Yes. Multiple home pickups, restaurant stops, photo stops, and split drop-offs are all fine as long as the whole route fits inside the hours you reserve. Extra stops are the number-one cause of overtime, so list every stop in order when you request the quote. Groups picking up from three or more homes usually add one buffer hour.
What is the difference between a party bus and a limousine?
Space and experience. A limousine is elegant and seated: leather seats, a privacy partition, mood lighting, a mini-bar with ice and water, and a formal arrival, but riders stay seated and larger groups feel it. A party bus is a club on wheels: wraparound seating around an open floor, LED and laser lighting, a Bluetooth sound system, a bar area, and room to stand, dance, and move between the front and back. In Chicago the two are priced the same at 20 to 22 passengers, so the choice is about how your group wants to spend the ride.
How far in advance should I book?
The median Chicago group requests a quote 30 days before the event, and about half of all requests arrive inside that window. Weddings plan farthest ahead (a median of about 105 days), while birthdays (27 days), prom (24 days), and concerts (22 days) are booked closer in. For a Saturday in June through September, a prom Saturday, St. Patrick's Day weekend, or New Year's Eve, book as early as your headcount is firm.
Can I decorate the party bus?
Yes. Balloons, streamers, and posters are welcome, and the driver can help you get them in before pickup. Anything that leaves marks is not allowed: no glitter or confetti (a $350 cleanup fee) and no tapes or adhesives that damage paint or upholstery. Photographers, filming, and branded signage are fine under the same no-damage, no-adhesive rule.
Do you have wheelchair-accessible vehicles?
Yes. Shuttle buses and coach buses are the accessible options, with wheelchair lifts and low-step entry available on request; party buses and stretch limousines have high steps and no lift. Tell us about walkers, wheelchairs, or any mobility need when you request the quote so the right vehicle is assigned and the pickup point has curb access.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made in writing between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Cancellations within 7 days of the reservation are a 100% cancellation fee. Outside 7 days, management may allow the deposit to be applied as a credit toward a future reservation depending on the event type; special-event dates such as prom Saturdays, St. Patrick's Day, and New Year's Eve are non-refundable. Any reschedule or credit must be approved in writing.
What areas do you serve?
Chicago and the Chicagoland suburbs across Cook, DuPage, Lake, Will, Kane, and McHenry counties: Naperville, Aurora, Joliet, Schaumburg, Evanston, Arlington Heights, Orland Park, Tinley Park, and dozens more. Naperville, Schaumburg, Joliet, Aurora, and the north-shore suburbs are the most common suburban pickup points, and most suburban groups ride into the city, which is why they usually book 5 hours instead of 4. Trips well outside Chicagoland or across state lines may carry a mileage adjustment stated on the quote.
