Who we are
Chicago Party Bus Fun books party buses, limousines, Sprinters, shuttles, and coach buses across Chicagoland. A trip may be operated by an affiliated carrier; the vehicle, carrier, and total price are confirmed on the written quote and contract.
In practice that means three jobs. We help you decide what to ask for: how many seats, what kind of vehicle, how many hours. We obtain availability and pricing for your date and put it in front of you in writing. And we stay available if the plan changes or something needs sorting out afterward.
We are part of a national booking network for party buses, limousines, shuttle buses, and motorcoaches. This site is the network's home for Chicago: it covers trips in the city, across the suburbs from Naperville to Evanston, and out to the places Chicago groups go, from Lake Geneva to the Indiana casinos.
You will not find a founding story, a fleet count, or a wall of awards on this page. We would rather earn your trust with things you can check: a quote that names names, guides that cite their sources, and data with its method published.
How the service works
You send a request. The quote form asks for the date, the headcount, the pickup area, and the occasion. A phone call works too.
We match it to vehicles. A group of 18 heading to dinner and two bars has different needs from 18 wedding guests who need a ride between a hotel and a venue. The first probably wants a 20 passenger party bus; the second may be happier, and spend less, in a 20 passenger shuttle bus.
You receive a written quote. It identifies the transportation provider that would run the trip and the vehicle, and it sets out hours, rates, additional charges, the deposit, and the cancellation terms. Equipment varies from vehicle to vehicle, so the quote is also the record of what yours includes.
You decide. There is no charge for a quote and no obligation to accept it. If you go ahead, you pay the deposit as the quote describes, and the vehicle is held for you.
The provider runs the trip. On the day, the provider's dispatcher and driver are your contacts, using the day-of number on your paperwork. We remain reachable through the contact page before and after.
This arrangement has a practical benefit. A single operator can offer you only what is in its own garage on your date. A referral service can look across providers for the right size, which matters most on the crowded nights when the obvious choice is already gone.

Our data program
Most advice about group transportation is opinion. We wanted numbers, so we built a dataset from the one thing a booking network has in abundance: requests for quotes.
The current edition covers 65,687 inquiry records with event dates in 2024 and 2025. From those we publish 188 statistics about when groups ask, how large they are, which seasons and weekdays they want, and how that differs by occasion and by vehicle. The full library is on the market reports page, and the counting rules are in the methodology.
Three limits are stated wherever a figure appears. The data is national, not a Chicago sample. It counts inquiries, which are not completed trips or individual people. And we leave out what the records cannot support, including anything about prices.
Within those limits the numbers are useful. Nearly half of requests with a usable headcount, 49%, were for 11 to 20 passengers, which is why our party bus pages give that size range so much attention. Groups of 21 to 30 made up another 17%, and nearly all of their recognizable quotes were for a party bus; if that is your headcount, start with the 24 passenger party bus and its neighbors. Four in five requested dates were a Friday or Saturday, the strongest argument we know for asking early or choosing a Sunday.
We also run anonymous polls on every guide. They are not scientific, but they show what riders care about, and the results are open to everyone.
