Answer summary

Chicago Party Bus Fun in three sentences

Chicago Party Bus Fun books group transportation across Chicago and the suburbs: party buses from 22 to 45 seats, stretch limousines from 8 to 20, Sprinters, shuttles, and coaches. Every quote is one written total that includes the vehicle, a professional driver, fuel, taxes, and gratuity, with published rates so you can budget before you call. A signed contract and 50% deposit hold the date; the rules for drinks, decorations, stops, minors, and cancellations are published on the FAQ and rental agreement pages.

  • Phone and text: 1-773-570-7445. Email: partybusexperts@gmail.com.
  • Service area: Chicago plus Cook, DuPage, Lake, Will, Kane, and McHenry counties, with planning pages for 64 suburbs.
  • Minimums: 4 hours Friday and Saturday evenings, 3 hours otherwise, 6 hours on Saturdays in March through May.

How we work

Most party bus frustration comes from three places: a quote that grows on the night of the event, a vehicle that does not match the headcount, and rules nobody mentioned until the driver arrived. The booking desk is built to remove all three before you pay a deposit.

The price is published and complete. The Chicago rate guide lists the 3-, 4-, 5-, 6-, and 8-hour package for every vehicle, from the 8-passenger Lincoln stretch at $1,100 for 4 hours to the 45-passenger party bus at $2,420. That number already includes the vehicle, the driver, fuel, taxes, and the driver's gratuity, so the total on the quote is the total you pay unless the trip runs into overtime or a cleanup fee is triggered, and both of those are spelled out in the rental agreement.

The vehicle fits the group. The pickup ZIP and date come first because they set the minimum hours and which vehicles are open. Then headcount, event type, and hours pick the vehicle. The median Chicago group is 15 riders and is quoted a vehicle 4 to 6 seats larger, which is why the 22-passenger party bus is the most-requested vehicle. If a party bus is more than the budget allows, a smaller bus, a stretch limo, or a forward-facing shuttle is offered instead of a stretched quote.

The rules are written down first. Bring your own sealed drinks and plastic cups (21+), no glass, no food on board, no smoking, no glitter, balloons and streamers welcome, as many stops as fit inside the reserved hours, no alcohol with minors unless a parent rides along. Every one of those is on the FAQ page with the reasoning behind it, and the full contract language is on the terms page, so nothing is a surprise at the curb.

Trips may be operated by an affiliated carrier working under these same terms. The vehicle and carrier for your trip are identified on the written quote and contract, current photos of that vehicle are sent on request, and a certificate of insurance is available for venues that require one.

What every quote includes

One line, one total. These are the items behind it.

  • The vehicle for the reserved hours

  • A professional, commercially insured driver

  • Fuel for the planned route

  • Taxes

Party buses and stretch limos also come with ice and bottled water in the bar area, and every plan can include as many pickups and stops as fit inside the reserved hours. Extra hours bill at the vehicle's fixed increment ($210 on a 22-passenger bus); mileage adjustments apply only to trips well outside Chicagoland and are stated on the quote.

Safety and the driver

Trips run with a professional, commercially licensed and insured driver in a regularly maintained vehicle carrying safety and emergency equipment. Driver screening details and a certificate of insurance are provided in writing on request, and the driver has the authority to end a trip for unsafe behavior.

  • Professional, commercially insured drivers; screening details provided in writing on request
  • Regular vehicle maintenance with safety and emergency equipment on board
  • Vehicles are never loaded past seated capacity
  • No alcohol with minors on board unless a parent or legal guardian rides; underage drinking ends the trip
  • No smoking or vaping; standing through the roof exit is illegal and carries a $250 charge
  • Drivers may visually check bags and coolers on prom, homecoming, and under-21 trips
  • Certificate of insurance available for venues that require one

Where we go

Pickups run across Chicago and the six-county Chicagoland area. The neighborhoods and venues that come up most in quote requests: River North, West Loop, Fulton Market, Wrigleyville, Logan Square, Wicker Park, Wrigley Field, United Center, Soldier Field, O'Hare, and Midway.

Suburban pickups most often start in Naperville, Schaumburg, Joliet, Aurora, Evanston, and Oak Park. West and north suburban groups should budget 45 to 75 minutes each way into downtown on a weekend evening, which is why a 4-hour plan often becomes 5.

Booking data

What we have learned from Chicago groups

The booking desk keeps aggregate records of what Chicago groups ask for. These patterns shape the rate card, the minimums, and the advice on this site.

  • Friday and Saturday evening rentals in Chicago carry a 4-hour minimum; Sunday through Thursday, and Friday or Saturday trips that finish before 5 p.m., can be booked for 3 hours.

    Booking policy

  • Bachelor and bachelorette parties make up roughly 10% of Chicago requests, and they are the smallest groups on average at about 13 riders.

    Chicago quote requests, 2026

  • Sunday (10%) and Thursday (8%) are the next busiest Chicago days; Monday through Wednesday together are barely 10% of trips, which is where 3-hour minimums and lower rates live.

    Chicago quote requests, 2026

  • Saturday is 49% of Chicago party bus dates and Friday another 22%, so 71% of Chicago trips happen on the two nights with the firmest 4-hour minimum.

    Chicago quote requests, 2026

  • 30% of pickups are scheduled between 6 and 8 p.m., 28% between 3 and 5 p.m., and 20% between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; only 10% start after 9 p.m.

    2026 booking-desk patterns

  • Chicago rates step up roughly $120 to $280 per size tier: 22 passengers $1,340, 24 passengers $1,460, 28 passengers $1,628, 30 passengers $1,940, and 34 passengers $2,060 for 4 hours.

Percentages describe quote requests and reservations handled through Chicago Party Bus Fun and are rounded. They describe planning patterns, not guarantees of availability or price. Your written quote is the final word on vehicle, hours, and total cost. How these figures are compiled.

About Chicago Party Bus Fun: FAQs

Straight answers from the Chicago booking desk

What does Chicago Party Bus Fun do?
Chicago Party Bus Fun books party buses (22 to 45 seats), stretch limousines (8 to 20), executive and limo-style Sprinters, shuttle buses, and coaches for groups in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. The booking desk takes the pickup ZIP, date, headcount, event type, and hours, matches the group to a vehicle, sends one written total that includes the driver, fuel, taxes, and gratuity, and holds the date with a signed contract and 50% deposit. A trip may be operated by an affiliated carrier; the vehicle and carrier are named on the quote and contract.
Where does Chicago Party Bus Fun pick up?
Anywhere in Chicago and across Cook, DuPage, Lake, Will, Kane, and McHenry counties. Naperville, Schaumburg, Joliet, Aurora, and the north-shore suburbs are the most common suburban pickups, and most suburban groups ride into the city. There are dedicated planning pages for 64 suburbs. Trips well outside Chicagoland or across state lines may carry a mileage adjustment stated on the quote.
What is included in the price?
The quoted price covers the vehicle for the reserved hours, a professional and commercially insured driver, fuel, taxes, and the driver's gratuity. Party buses and stretch limousines also come with ice and bottled water in the bar area. Extra hours are billed at the contract hourly rate, and mileage adjustments apply only to trips well outside Chicagoland, which the written quote will say up front. There is no tip to calculate on the night of the event.
Are the drivers professional and insured?
Drivers are professional, commercially licensed and insured, and vehicles are maintained regularly and carry safety and emergency equipment. Ask for driver screening and insurance details in writing with your quote; a certificate of insurance can be provided for venues that require one. Drivers may end a trip without refund for blatant unsafe behavior, and standing through the emergency roof exit is illegal and carries a $250 charge.
Is a quote the same as a reservation?
A quote tells you the vehicle, hours, and total, but it does not hold the vehicle. The reservation is locked in only when the signed contract and the 50% deposit are received. Saturdays book quickly: 49% of Chicago trips fall on a Saturday, so a quote for a summer Saturday can disappear within days.
Can I see vehicle photos or the contract before I pay?
Yes. Current photos of the specific vehicle being quoted are sent on request, and the full terms and conditions are available before you sign anything; they are also published on the terms page. Photo requests were the most common follow-up question last year, so just ask.
Can you lower the price?
Quotes are already built to be competitive and include tax, fuel, and gratuity, so the total is not discounted further. The real levers are yours: a Sunday-through-Thursday date or a daytime weekend trip qualifies for the 3-hour rate, a forward-facing shuttle costs less than a party bus of the same size, and booking the right number of hours up front avoids overtime. Ask us to show you the 4-, 5-, and 6-hour package for two vehicle sizes so you can compare.

Ready to plan your Chicago event?

Tell us about your event and ask for a written quote. If your reservation is serviced by an affiliate or sister company, confirm vehicle, operator, base rate, minimum hours, and included charges with that provider before paying a deposit.
